About

Hi, I'm Naomi.

Registered dietitian. Certified life coach. And a woman who knows what it is to hold a plate in one hand and a whole lot of shame in the other.

An open journal, tea and lavender

The short version

Hey sis,

I got tired of watching good women blame themselves.

I spent years handing women excellent nutrition advice and watching it not work. Not because the advice was wrong. Because nobody had ever asked them what they were actually carrying.

You can know exactly what to eat and still stand in front of the fridge at 10pm. That gap is not a knowledge problem, and it is definitely not a willpower problem. It is everything underneath: the beliefs, the identity, the quiet conviction that you are the one person this will not work for.

So I went and got trained in the other half. Now I do both, in one room, with the God who made you in the middle of it.

What I bring

Two credentials that rarely sit together

Registered Dietitian

Clinical training in how food actually works in a real body. Which means nothing I give you is a trend, a cleanse, or something I read about last month. It also means I will tell you honestly when a goal is not safe.

Certified Life Coach

Trained in the part that decides whether any of it sticks. Habits, identity, the stories you have been telling yourself for twenty years. This is where most weight loss falls apart.

"And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind."

Romans 12:2

Notice the order. The mind is renewed, and then the transformation follows. Not the other way around. That verse is the entire reason I work the way I do.

What I believe

Three things I will not budge on

1

Shame has never changed anyone

It has motivated plenty of people, briefly. Then it collapses, and takes more with it than it gave. You will not be shamed here, by me or by yourself if I can help it.

2

Your body is not the enemy

It has carried you, possibly grown children, and survived things you do not give it credit for. We are not going to war with it. We are going to start listening to it.

3

Faith is not a garnish

It is not a verse dropped at the end of a meal plan. If God is real, He is real about this too, and He is not standing over you with a clipboard.

Come and tell me where you are.

No pitch, no pressure. Just a conversation about what has actually been happening and whether I am the right person to walk with you.
